Oshawa ON -- The Durham I.T. Association, in conjunction with the Sales Institute of Canada, Web In Motion and Three Wise Men is pleased to bring you the Metro East Information and Technology Trade Exhibit Student Fair and Career Fair on May 4 and 5 at the General Motors Centre in downtown Oshawa.
The show will have a local trade exhibition, as well as a student fair and career fair component. If you work in Information Technology (I.T.), are considering a career in I.T., hire for I.T., or have an I.T.-focused business, this show is for you!
"This will be the single largest and most important I.T.-related trade show east of Toronto ever," says Edward Henry, president of the Sales Institute of Canada. Henry and his company are working with the Durham I.T. Association to manage and organize the show.
"We're a volunteer based association, from the board all the way down the chain,” says Steven Vetzal, president of the Durham I.T. Association. “Edward Henry and the Sales Institute of Canada have undertaken the tremendous task of pulling all this together. Planning and running a show like this is a full-time effort, and we are lucky to have Ed and his team to help."
Some of the highlights of the show will be a 50/50 draw enacted like the popular "Deal or No Deal," a silent auction and, of course, an exhibition of the most talented and capable I.T.-focused companies in Durham Region.
Our current major sponsors include: Novell Inc. and Durham Region Economic Development and Tourism Department, but there are still sponsorship opportunities available.
You can read more information about the show on its official website:
